Career Guidance & Mentorship
Determining your career path is more than just following your passions and skills, it’s about being adaptive in this digital age and understanding what skills and jobs are in high demand.
Technology, unemployment and remote work is rapidly changing the job market making careers that were relevant in the last decade to become obsolete. There is an urgent need for timely guidance of youth to be aware of the careers in the market, for them to embrace the new career updates around the world and keeping up with the changes that come up throughout their lifetime to create sustainable communities, reduce mental health diseases and eradicate poverty.
Nawiri Mashinani career guidance and mentorship fair brings together selected members of the community who have made strides in their careers to guide the youth in changing their mindset and embracing the opportunities in the market. The career fair will guide the youth to focus on the right skills to increase employability and spark entrepreneurship. The career fair will also bring together entrepreneurs to mentor the youth into creating small businesses and assist them in making informed educational and occupational choices.
Financial Aid
Financing is one of the hurdles in access to education and affecting community development continuing the cycle of poverty.
Nawiri Mashinani education interventions pioneer education for all students from less fortunate families through innovative methods like crowdfunding, community investments, and strategic partnerships to bridge the financial gap that has hindered access to education.
We will also have operation “Bring back girls to school” aimed at taking young girls who suffered teenage pregnancies to have an equal opportunity to access education as young mothers.
Education Material/ Classrooms Construction
Access to learning materials such as school uniforms, books and stationary affect child/ students’ school performance and limit opportunities in life for children from low social and economic backgrounds.
Nawiri mashinani provides essential learning materials to children from disadvantaged communities to ensure children have the material to help them succeed in school/classroom.
We also work with donors to support structures for students to able to learn from.
